Dr. Grace Simco, D.M.D., M.S.D., is a board-certified orthodontist specializing in airway-focused orthodontics. She leads the orthodontic team at Dr. Grace Orthodontics and Grace’s Braces, where she integrates advanced imaging, growth-based research, and interdisciplinary care to enhance breathing, facial development, and overall health. With a deep commitment to optimizing airway function, she provides modern, developmentally conscious orthodontic treatments tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Grace’s dual orthodontic education in China and the United States, combined with extensive research at the Bolton-Brush Growth Study Center and the Craniofacial Imaging Center, has positioned her at the forefront of 3D imaging and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) technologies. After earning her medical and dental degrees at Nanjing Medical University, she pursued a three-year orthodontic residency at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in Cleveland, Ohio, where she later served as Clinic Director Chief. She remains an active faculty member at CWRU’s Bolton-Brush Growth Study Center—the world’s leading institution for human facial growth research—and continues to lecture internationally, including at her alma mater in Nanjing, China.
Beyond traditional orthodontics, Dr. Grace specializes in airway-driven treatments for children and adults, addressing concerns such as TMJ/TMD, sleep-disordered breathing, and obstructive sleep apnea. Her integrative approach promotes clear breathing, balanced facial growth, and restful sleep, ensuring lifelong health and natural beauty.
In her free time, Dr. Grace, her husband Steve, and their four-legged companions Murphie and Milo, enjoy hiking and biking in the local parks, fishing on the local rivers and lakes and experiencing the history and international culture of the greater Philadelphia area. Thanks to Murphie, Dr. Grace learned a lot about dog behavior and now enjoys training dogs whenever she gets the chance. Grace also loves cooking for her family and friends, both authentic Chinese dishes and recipes from around the world.
